OLYMPIC PENINSULA
MAPS & DIRECTIONS

Forks is located on the West side of Washington State's Olympic Peninsula. It has a small private airport, and is right on Highway 101. From Seattle, drive time is about 4 hours whether you drive North or South around Olympic National Park.

There are several ways to get there, but no matter which way you go, the scenery is impressive and there are plenty of places to stop for a good cup of coffee.

Seattle may feel coastal, but it's actually part of the Puget Lowlands, with Puget sound reaching inland from the Northwest. The Olympic Peninsula comprises most of Washington's coastline, many miles of which are under protection as National Park and Marine Sanctuary.

Here are a few different routes from Sea Tac Airport to Forks. Times listed do not consider traffic, so you may want to look at traffic conditions before deciding which direction you'll go. I usually go from Sea Tac to Edmonds, catch the Ferry across to Kingston, and take the Northern route from there.
